_About Saskia

Saskia is a freelance communication specialist. She used to work for Comedy Central, a tv-channel from MTV Networks, which takes humour seriously. So does Saskia. She lists funny stuff from the web on her blog. You might think that some are funny, some are very funny and some are not. Well, humour is very personal and therefore this blog is.

What does Saskia do for a living? She freelances at media corporations, ad agencies and brands. She is a skilled project manager, but most and foremost a communication specialist. At Comedy Central she was brand manager and knows marketing and media very well. Outside work she a blogger, duh, and she is photographer, tennis player and cycler (on her pink-and-black beach cruiser). Also she knows a great deal about television. Well you think: who doesn’t? That is probably true. But with her bachelor in Media Studies, beside here communication bachelor, Saskia thinks she knows a bit more. And she probably does. Because of her dedication to youth culture and media troughout her study. She studied for example the areas: ‘Popmusic, youth culture and music’, ‘Media use by youth in the sixties’ and sho wrote her thesis ‘Micha Klein, video, art and culture’ about modern photography, art and video.

What does Saskia look like? A bit like this (see below), but normally, when she is not taking pictures from herself, she has a more natural smile. And whatch out: she chances her hair a lot, so when meeting her she might be a blond, or a redhead, or a boldie.. you never know.
